In the current condition. I've only used it a few times recently, but I've been working professionally with slabs of granite for 8 years and have used many, many crowns, old and new. This one works just as well as anything I've used. Need a variable speed grinder (think 13+ amps) to work properly with this type of bit. This is really a professional tool. If you have never drilled through granite, consider hiring a professional. The damage you can do to a hard stone surface by bouncing around a bit is a lot more expensive than having your local granite shop drill a few holes for you to fix.
