I bought this despite seeing reports of bent levers. At the store, we used a large detachable clip with a handle that costs about $50. I don't need it at home so I didn't want to spend that much. I've used this jig on big block Chevy valves with about 585# springs and had no problems. It's a bit slower than the more expensive model, but once set up, it's pretty quick. I've also used it on an old BMW motorcycle with no problems. Great buy, IMHO. Only criticism is that the crossbar handle keeps falling out of the hole in the threaded rod. Even just expanding the ends with a hammer will work. However, I find it WAY too easy and welded it in place. MUCH more satisfaction.
