Almost perfect for an inexpensive desktop supply. So why only three stars? Well it doesn't have a series diode to prevent back flow when you have a battery etc as a load. In a one-page manual, they warn against using a diode for a battery or capacitive loads. The problem is that you have to remember to include the 0.6VDC voltage drop for the diode when setting the desired voltage and overvoltage. So charging a 20VDC battery means setting the desired voltage to 20.6VDC and the overvoltage to 20.8VDC. This diode must be in front of the meter in the internal circuit so that it turns on automatically in the settings, so the two stars are off. .
