I have often used this type of carbide cutters for aluminum machining. They work great as long as you coat everything with A-9 aluminum cutting fluid. Let things dry and you can toss your loaded cutter in the trash. Picking aluminum from your teeth can be very difficult. I've also used these burrs on alloy steels that are as tough as A2 annealed die steel. As long as you don't let them talk too much, they do well. I am very happy with this particular cutter. It's very nicely done.
