Summary - They were difficult to put through the valve stem but my first impression is that the truck runs smoother. Details. I bought a 12oz x 4 kit that includes 4 new valve stem cores, 4 caps, a decorative tipped screwdriver and a bottle to install the flanges through the valve stem. The kit was very complete and of good quality. I've noticed my tires wobble a bit at 75-80 mph on the freeway. I have a Michelin LTX AT2 and according to Michelin they weigh 57 pounds each (285/70R17 Michelin LTX AT2 121/118R D). The Counteract manual says 1 ounce for every 13 pounds of tire weight, so that should mean I need about 4.4 ounces. I didn't keep track of the exact weight of the balls I put in each hoop. I only approximated it by roughly dividing each bag into 12 ounces per tire, so I'd say 5-7 ounces depending on the tire. I've seen several YouTube videos of people airing their tires by once attaching a bottle/tube to the valve stem. He was floored and then jacked up the truck, which quickly sucked up the beads. It did not work. I also read that someone used vibration to shake the balls faster, so I fitted my drill with an offset weight that vibrates pretty well. It seemed to work fine but I had to hold it properly for it to work and then when I stopped it was a beast to start it again. I had to remove the bottle/pipe and lower the truck to blow out the sides that got clogged there at some point. What worked best for me was to put a jack under the frame and then deflate the tire to keep it from falling too far. I didn't give much thought to the position of the valve stem (top/bottom/sideways). Then I connected the bottle/tube and just squeeze the bottle to shoot the beads little by little. It would be more efficient to do this without completely filling the pipe. By holding the tube horizontally and tucking the beads along the bottom, the bead layer was allowed to pass through without clogging. If it was clogged, the suction of the bottle would suck them back out and they would go in with the next squeeze. This took about 5-10 minutes per tire, which is much faster than the vibration method. It was very humid when I did this, so that might have played a role as well. I rode the truck and it definitely ran smoother with the sides than before. I did NOT remove the existing wheel weights. I figured if it gets tough maybe I'll take the weights off and try again. Although I didn't have to. Now I'm going to insert the remaining beads into the pendant hoops. However, I will not have unclogged valve stems. We'll see how it goes.
