This siphon works very well when assembled. The flexible hose is very difficult to put on the siphon hose, but once you put it on it works great. The inflation hose leaks a bit, but it's a lot better than trying to use a valved hose. I clean all the tubes at once so it's easy to clean. I don't think it would be that easy if you let something dry in the tube. Almost common sense.
