I have been driving a Bilstein 5100 for 10 years now and my Jeep LJ 05 is one of the best SUVs I have ever driven. One of my old shocks started leaking very little fluid after 10 years of off-road racing in the mountains of Colorado and I couldn't find a receipt for a lifetime warranty so I ended up buying it at a better price with shipping. These shocks perform excellently and I highly recommend them for 4.5-5.5 inch lift TJ/LJs. My original shocks were designed for a 6" stroke and were a bit long for the 4.5" stroke I currently use. I was hoping that the compressed length of these shocks would be a bit shorter than it actually is as they turned out to be the exact same compressed length as my old shocks. The extended length is approximately 1.5 inches shorter than the 6 inch shocks. The only issue is that you have to have at least a 4" bottom to use these shocks, which works for me as my 35" tires require just that. Bumpers to keep the tires from touching the stock fenders.
