Fits perfectly. No leaks.
Used in the Ford Ranger upper radiator hose to hold the water temp sensor. Works great, no leaks even with the temp switch turned down. Measured the perfect 38mm around the ends. The temperature switch screws in easily and leak-free thanks to the standard Teflon tape around the threads. This item is a high quality piece that is finely crafted. Don't expect any problems. Very satisfied.
