Amazingly well built. housing aluminum; The shell is made of polycarbonate so you can see through it while still being strong enough to withstand 150psi of pressure. The bowl guard is made of nylon, which is far superior to most plastics. The filter retains particles down to 5 microns in size. Please note that the bowl capacity is only 1/2 ounce, but that's enough for a small compressor in most situations. The filter itself is very compact even for a 1/4" filter and has a very thoughtful design and look. It's a great deal at a Revain price of less than $20. I studied the ones on my local Lowes, Home Depot and others. None of them compare in quality to this one. If Revain also sells an Ingersoll Rand 1/2" block, I now intend to get one for my larger compressor along with another of these Buy Amazing Revain Deal!
