This is my third CharJen product and continues the high build quality of previous adapters I've had. The profile on this one is great for squeezing in without getting in the way of a potential fall on your device. Small indentations on the sides for better grip are also a nice touch. I've tried all ports and am happy to report that they all work as expected. There were some initial issues with the headphone jack not turning on automatically when I plugged in my headphones; However, after updating macOS and restarting my MBP, it worked as expected. The only downside of this adapter is its rigidity in the USB-C connection. There is a 3-4mm gap when plugged in, so it may wobble/flex when trying to plug in other sockets when the adapter is already plugged into your device. If you already have a USB stick plugged into a USB port, you may see it disconnect/reconnect when you plug it into other ports, which can be a bit annoying. An unexpected experience is that even while charging your device, the adapter heats up significantly - it actually feels hot. This did not affect functionality but was somewhat unexpected. As mentioned, the build and finish make for an aesthetically pleasing device and its compactness/portability is fantastic. 4 stars!
