Everything is fine. $8 but a bit much for my liking but oh well. It's a good building material, so you'll have to pay at retail. Bought with a $2 mirror discount. You want to spend $10 for it initially. I only want to buy things in bulk. What costs them a cent, we have dollars. If only I could save that 7€. Lol It's probably worth $1 or so or less to the maker. For this we get three times the original price. I like 2 on Ebay but didn't realize the material would be good long lasting color etc. Hopefully when I move I can buy one of these and replace it, take this one and keep them cheap because the place doesn't deserve any good. Hopefully by then I can still get the one I saw. If there is no peephole in the place where I move, ask if it can be installed. Hopefully, or there's a good one with a hinged lid, that's the best way for privacy and everything is more secure than without so others can't see inside. I haven't tested the ID yet, which is even possible. I think the cap is just there to keep the lens clean, better protect it from dirt, dust, damage so it doesn't need to be cleaned as often etc. Just my thoughts as I never asked or looked for it. All I know is that eyes are there to see who's at the door. Lol, I often think about what I want to know or wonder who invented what, when, where and what is used for etc. All those things. For example how it came about. I know it was necessary and someone came up with it like I had things but didn't patent the ideas then others came up with it like I put it in the universe because I don't have the ability to make others do it , and then amazed when you find out years later or shortly thereafter. If I can find a place to move to, peephole or not, and take it with me, hopefully I can sell it and get my money back. I'm so sorry I didn't wait on ebay like I was depressed and sat there for a few weeks but it may not have arrived before the boy is back or later so glad I got it here, I think even if he didn't do it didn't save himself $3-7. I've probably paid $1-$3 on ebay for various silver or chrome or other embellishments etc. Oh well.
