Although there were no instructions on how to remove the old hose and install a new hose, I went to YouTube and there was a good video on how to remove the old hose. You need to unscrew the plastic elbow at the bottom of the vacuum cleaner. There is a plastic screw that you need to unscrew to remove the lower knee. You will also need to remove the top of the old hose to pull out the old hose. You'll also need to snap the power cord's "hook" near the elbow. It only turns on/off. I cut off the top of the old hose and fed it through the bracket. The new hose was inserted without disassembly and parts! So it is very easy to install a new hose. As for longevity? We will see. Works like new.
