These curtains are nice and are doing the job we needed of blocking the light. The color (burgundy) is somewhat lighter than I hoped but in rechecking the website photos, they do look much like the closeup photos, just not as dark as the hanging photos appear. The texture is nice but not visible unless you're are very close. I expected more sheen to the fabric but mine are quite matte. If you've had really beautiful drapes before, "luxurious" probably isn't a word you would choose to describe these but they are great for the price. Do expect lots of wrinkling. I steamed mine after hanging and they look good and are doing the job so I'm satisfied.
