Review on 🧢 Knit Problem Solving: Optimal Solutions for Knitters by Wendy Rodriguez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Covers the basics

I'm not a knitter. Actually, I still see myself as a beginner. I already have the Vogue Knitting Quick Reference which pretty much covers everything in this book. I was hoping for the "next step" in knitting. Unfortunately, this book does not offer that. And if you're looking to save money, you can find a lot of what you'll find here online (even with videos). On the plus side, the book is really well put together. The pictures are very clear and the instructions are clear. It's also a great design - like the fashion guide, it's spiral bound so it lays flat while you fiddle with your wands and try to figure out what went wrong! Conclusion: This is a good guide for beginners, but others cover the same topics and more. In the meantime I'm still looking for a book that explains how to avoid holes when using short rows in the round.
