Review on Makita VC4210L Gallon Filter Extractor by Scott Clayton

Revainrating 1 out of 5

pop, pop, pop! the best among power tools and hand tools

Ok so I looked at some reviews on this item and got a good idea of what I was getting. Unfortunately, Makita changed the design and operation of the device after watching the video reviews. My son and I put it together, turned it on and finally figured out that there is some sort of built in solenoid or relay that makes the vacuum bang loudly every few seconds. At the same time, the housing of the vacuum cleaner seems about to fall apart. It's annoying! The vacuum cleaner is not quiet at first. The suction power was just ok. Dissatisfied with the technical performance of this product in this price range.
