Lodge Grill Pan delivers as expected. It is well flavored and ready to use after rinsing with warm water. I recommend ordering the Lodge grill scrapers which come in a pack of two. This makes it much easier to clean the pan after use. The raised ridges in the pan that leave grill marks and hold cooked food above spilling fat or grease are such that poking into the crevices with a sponge or cleaning pad just won't hit the corners. good enough. With the help of scrapers everything is removed. I've also found that cleaning the pan immediately after use makes cleaning easier. Don't leave it overnight. I did some work to smooth out some of the edges of the casting, but it's not necessary. I love the shape of the handle and using a silicone grip cover is a good choice as it's a great way not to burn your hand moving the pan and it fits perfectly.
