These compartments are a bit small compared to other scanner compartments I have, but they are worth the money. We have had scan trays for about 20 years and they are resilient with proper care and use. Don't use high heat on the stove, it's unnecessary and harsh on any pan. Easy to clean and season. I've tried washing in the dishwasher but it ruins the seasoning. Hand wash, they're easy to clean, and use a spray of cooking spray on the pan and it will never stick. I know these pans aren't cheap, but they are far more durable and cook better than any teflon coated nonstick pan. Just throw away the Teflon bottles the first time they overheat, as that will destroy the non-stick coating! Spend a little more and get something that lasts! I still use pans from 20 years ago and they are like new!
