Waste of money - cookware sets

Used for just over 2 years. Have followed the cleaning instructions every time. I have NEVER used metal utensils, although they say you can. Now one pan is absolutely NOT non-stick and the other is slightly sticky. I have never paid more than 100 euros for regular non-stick pans. In fact, traditional non-stick pans last longer than this pan with what is called a lifetime guarantee. Complete garbage. I get mad every morning when I have to make scrambled eggs after not eating eggs that are tooโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Mature model

No constant temperature

Advantages: Good size bowl, easy to clean. Cons: No heatsink. The temperature of the pan fluctuates wildly, changing the moment you add it or remove it from the heat. The lid allows the greasy vapor to escape around the edges instead of dripping back. When using an electric stove, maintaining a constant temperature is a miserable affair. And unlike a higher quality heatsink pan, it won't continue to cook after you remove it from the heat.

Pros
  • Dream come true
Cons
  • For old

Very excited as I think they will replace my Swiss Diamond.

I received this set of pans yesterday. Very excited as I think they will be replacing my swiss diamond pans. This morning I used the smaller pan for an egg white omelette. I boiled eggs and the end result was terrible. The eggs were carved in a pan, absolutely NOT non-stick. They may have missed a step in the process and made mistakes, but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone! I took the picture because I was so incredulous. Also, I think this is my first product review on Amazon after 1000โ€ฆ

Pros
  • Good product for the price

High quality that is worth the extra cost!

These compartments are a bit small compared to other scanner compartments I have, but they are worth the money. We have had scan trays for about 20 years and they are resilient with proper care and use. Don't use high heat on the stove, it's unnecessary and harsh on any pan. Easy to clean and season. I've tried washing in the dishwasher but it ruins the seasoning. Hand wash, they're easy to clean, and use a spray of cooking spray on the pan and it will never stick. I know these pans aren'tโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for a small home

Scanpans are SCAMPANs.

The Scanpan instruction manual warns against using oils as it shortens the life of these pans and I was thrilled to read this as I made the purchase specifically to get breakfast eggs without the addition of cooking fat. The reality is, those expensive nonstick pans just don't work. I've tried different preheating times and cooking temperatures, but the result is always the same: the eggs stick like glue. Not only could I not flip them in the pan, but my whole spatula collection just turns them

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Something is wrong

Not the old Scanpan, this one is awesome!

Okay, I bought a 12 inch Scanpan 2000 a few years before the turn of the century. After using it for a while I spent the money on a heavy glass lid to use when needed. The pan worked great for a couple of years, but probably about 10 years ago the nonstick quality just didn't help. As a Dutch Oven user, I have re-seasoned the pan several times, as cast iron sometimes has to be used. usually with a bang. After reading reviews of current Scanpan pans, I decided to try the new pan. I ordered aโ€ฆ
