This is an excellent way of checking the tightness of the shower tray insert. After doing the prolapse, siliconize the drain insert X, pull out the hole, fold back the valves, cut X the screw holes, make sure there is silicone around each screw hole, and secure the drain. ALWAYS keep the drain holes clean. Insert a wire until the silicone dries. Use a bicycle pump and not a compressor to inflate the test ball, as it uses very little air. Remember to place rocks around the drain when laying the dry mix to allow water to drain into the drain holes.
