Buy Hach Strips instead - they really work

These strips are extremely difficult to read accurately. When used as directed, the color of the area on the test strip will vary widely. The center of the area is a different color than the edges. While I read the strip as a 3 gpg, my wife read it as a 7 gpg. I looked at the edge which was a lighter, more distinct color while my wife looked at the center which was a watery stain. We still don't know what was right. We ended up throwing them away and bought HACH strips (also sold by Revain) which don't have this problem and also read in a wider color range. We eventually realized our water was too hard and when the clerk came out to fix our water softener he showed us his test strips. He also used Hach test strips.
