The current version of this product is *not* all brass. I've been buying these locks for 10 years now. The old ones are all brass and will not oxidize/oxidize to the point of being unusable in a marine environment. New (ordered in January 2021) internal mechanism, clearly aluminum (or worse zinc plated) - white aluminum or zinc oxide is weeping over the numbers and stitching of the case after just a month of use. An older lock of the same model used alongside a newer one will not show such problems after more than ten years of use. The creators of this castle turned a reliable workhorse into a piece of junk. DO NOT BUY.
