Review on 💪 Thermaltake Toughpower 750W 80 Plus Gold Semi Modular Power Supply PS-TPD-0750MPCGUS-1 by Brian Potter

I originally had a Corsair Modular 550W that I usually use as a test bed. Be careful though as the connectors on the modular cables are different! They are six pins for SATA/IDE/Floppies BUT they are NOT standard! I had already routed the cables perfectly so I just thought of replacing the power supply because again I thought they were stock. You are not! The DVD burner and two other peripherals burned out, including the WD Blue 500 GB! I looked at the contacts and they filled out an extra so be careful! Luckily the GPU power is properly secured, but despite this every cable was changed, re-tied and secured on every run, adding an extra 45 minutes to the task! Again, I have no idea why manufacturers of modular power supplies have to deviate from these cable pins!
