Better than what I had before.

I originally had a Corsair Modular 550W that I usually use as a test bed. Be careful though as the connectors on the modular cables are different! They are six pins for SATA/IDE/Floppies BUT they are NOT standard! I had already routed the cables perfectly so I just thought of replacing the power supply because again I thought they were stock. You are not! The DVD burner and two other peripherals burned out, including the WD Blue 500 GB! I looked at the contacts and they filled out an extra so…

Coil whine or mouse squeaky noise

Great price but I had to return it due to random and unacceptable mouse squeak. I don't know if it's the coil whistling or the capacitors or something else. But for $200, it just doesn't fly. My build was done and it was very tedious to figure out the exact noise culprit. I replaced it with "ASUS ROG Thor 1200 80+ Platinum 1200W Fully Modular PSU with LIVEDASH OLED Panel and 10 Year Warranty". The difference in build quality is immediately noticeable, and the noise is completely gone. I wish I…

Good power supply, suitable for internal power supplies

I don't know what to say about the power supply. It works. I'm buying back the PS capacity so I have some wiggle room to add cards and additional drives. This is my second thermal take; The first has been running for about 6 years. The only thing I didn't like was that the cable to the CPU power connector could have been longer. I'm sure it's fine for smaller hulls, but it's a bit shorter than it should be on my big tower. Otherwise everything seems fine. I would recommend this delivery…

Short ribbon cables. A misleading representation.

Everything is fine. Modular cables (except mb power). However, they are much shorter than I expected. This resulted in some cables running right above my phone without being able to route them behind the back of the cable management case. The cables also look like old '90s ribbon cables, which is good, but they're extremely difficult to tamper with inside the case compared to nylon-coated round cables. If you value cleanliness in your computer, this is not the best option. Also, the description

Pros
  • Form factor: Intel ATX 12V 2.3 and EPS 12V 2.92
Cons
  • So far so good

Abandoned after 2 years. I canceled the warranty and got a new one. The new one also gave up after only 2 years of little or no use (mostly I use my laptop and my computer was used for 3D rendering when I had a 3D contract). Needless to say, this is a very poor PSU that can easily endanger your computer's components, and let's face it, if you're using a 1500W PSU, your components are expensive. Stay away from this junk, you've been rightly warned.

Pros
  • Massive and dedicated +12V output
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
