Review on 💪 Thermaltake Toughpower 750W 80 Plus Gold Semi Modular Power Supply PS-TPD-0750MPCGUS-1 by Sean Maples

Great price but I had to return it due to random and unacceptable mouse squeak. I don't know if it's the coil whistling or the capacitors or something else. But for $200, it just doesn't fly. My build was done and it was very tedious to figure out the exact noise culprit. I replaced it with "ASUS ROG Thor 1200 80+ Platinum 1200W Fully Modular PSU with LIVEDASH OLED Panel and 10 Year Warranty". The difference in build quality is immediately noticeable, and the noise is completely gone. I wish I could just use the ROG 1200W from the start. Also, it's a platinum energy rating, not just gold, and it's fully modular. I would not recommend anyone to buy this Thermaltake PSU based on noise issues and other reviewers here on Revain have mentioned burning smells/issues which I could definitely see if the noise is a sign of something more sinister.
