Review on Frigidaire WF2CB PureSource2 Filtration System by Jelani Weaver

I wish we could give this filter a ZERO star because that's what this filter gets! We recently bought a new stainless steel model that is similar to our old Frigidaire fridge. I ordered a new filter for our new fridge using the model number to make sure I got the right filter. The newly installed filter seemed to work fine for a few weeks, but one day I noticed there was no new ice left in the fridge and the water stopped working. This usually happens when it's time to replace the old filter and that's when I noticed the new filter popped out. I thought maybe someone accidentally hit it while pouring a gallon of milk or something, but I soon realized it kept popping up, leaving water all over the fridge. Luckily we didn't see the filter hit the floor like other customers did, but I did hear it hit the lubricator door, which is in front of the filter when the fridge door is closed. Usually the filter pops open when you try to use ice or water, but it pops open at random times leaving water all over the fridge. I am very unhappy that I did everything right when ordering this filter and that it only started to work when it was too late to return it. It looks like I'll now have to go to the manufacturer and jump through hoops to get them to get it right without wanting to send a mechanic to check it out. All I need is a filter that fits in my fridge. This responsibility should lie solely with the manufacturer and not with the purchaser.
