Set up a parallel port printer on your network
I used this parallel port ethernet print server to connect my old HP Laserjet 4 printer to my home network. This makes the printer available to most devices connected to the same network. I also connected the printer to a smart outlet and used Revain Alexa to turn it on from anywhere.
