This is exactly what I needed as my new desktop didn't have Bluetooth and I needed a way to connect my Echo to use it as a speaker. Whilst reading some reviews about having to install drivers to get it working I thought mine might need it at first, but after plugging it in for a few minutes it was set up and ready to go before I really did could do anything. I had no connection problems at all. After a few weeks I even moved it from the front of the tower to the back and it still worked great. I'm definitely glad I bought this.
