This standalone scanner is perfect for my work. The included software is easy to install. I first used the online help to get started and found it excellent. I used some of the many features the first day I got it and it was great. Scanned photographs, black and white and colour. I used it to scan old emails into a PDF file. He worked great. The size is just right to sit next to my computer and access it easily without having to jump up and down to download. The feature I like the most is the ability to scan multiple photos at once and then put them into separate files. What a time saver as I have four boxes of very old family photos that I am working on. I just need to separate them in black and white and color as the scan settings are different. It also has the ability to do color correction, cropping, backlight correction and some others. I haven't tried these features yet, but I'm looking forward to it. It can also be used as a copier via a computer to a connected printer.
