Specimens are too small

I wrongly assumed the slides would hold larger specimens - like a whole bee wing, not a tiny part of it. Some slides are unrecognizable. I'm a retired biology teacher and I've been looking at slides for 23 years, so I feel like I know what to look at. I bought them to use with a microscope I bought for my grandchildren. The good thing is that they are plastic so I don't have to worry about them breaking and they are perfectly clear and easy to focus. I think I got what I paid for.
