Review on 4 Pack OTHWAY Solar Fence Post Lights - Decorative Wall Mount Deck Lighting, White by Matt Mix

I purchased 12 of these lights to install on a new vinyl fence (Oct 2018). Realized very quickly that the double sided tape I also purchased would not work. The backs of these lights are ribbed - not flat - therefore, it is impossible to get the majority of the double sided tape to stick to either the light or the mounting surface. But the lights do come with screws, which were easy enough to install the lights. All 12 of the lights worked great out of the box. Batteries were pre-charged, and the lights lasted all night long. Love the look! Construction is sturdy yet compact. It is October, so the next challenge is to see how it handles an Ohio winter.Update 1 - after a week, they are no longer staying lit thru the entire night. Even with a sunny day, they are dim or out when I go to work in the morning.Update 2 (May 2022) - After 4 Ohio winters, lights still working with original batteries, although some are noticeably not holding a very good charge. I plan to replace batteries this summer. Lights are mounted on white vinyl fence - and I can notice that the light housings are beginning to yellow a bit, particularly against the white vinyl fencing.
