Review on High-Performance Swisstop FlashPro (Shim/SRAM Road) Brake Pads - A Must-Have for Superior Braking by Dustin Wright

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent pads. Spend $1 more and buy them along with the holders

I'm into the latest Shimano Ultegra class brake pads along with salmon colored koolstop and double compound all on alloy wheels some very climbed steep hills. These are the best hands. Braking on steep descents in the rain is not a problem. The lack of deceleration on wet roads is also surprising. But I didn't even look for holders because you can change the pads so easily, not with these. They fit too tightly on the Shimano R8000 mounts. I often remove my cleaning pads and it's usually a lot easier to push the pads out than unscrew and reattach the holders, but not in that combination. From what I've read they work well with Swiss stoppers. 5 stars for those sold with their own holders, 4 stars for these. If you buy them as refills you've already tried pads anyway and don't bother with my sprockets.

Pros
  • Bike brakes and parts
Cons
  • Short manual
