Excellent pads. Spend $1 more and buy them along with the holders

I'm into the latest Shimano Ultegra class brake pads along with salmon colored koolstop and double compound all on alloy wheels some very climbed steep hills. These are the best hands. Braking on steep descents in the rain is not a problem. The lack of deceleration on wet roads is also surprising. But I didn't even look for holders because you can change the pads so easily, not with these. They fit too tightly on the Shimano R8000 mounts. I often remove my cleaning pads and it's usually a lot…

Best high performance aluminum pad I've tried

After using Shimano pads for years I decided to try something different. The Flash Pro pads immediately seemed like a notable improvement. Braking is quiet, powerful and easily adjustable. These pads also appear to be more resistant to aluminum splinters. The downside is they don't last as long as Shimano. I rode about 7,000 miles before getting to the attrition lines which included training, racing, rain, hard descents and whatnot. I usually get twice as far with Shimano pads. That means Flash

Modulates well, stops quickly. I'm a believer!

My good old Shimano brake pads are outdated. But I'm joking. Wanted to see what the hype was about remanufactured brake pads and the Swiss Stop seemed like a popular option and damn they're Swiss, aren't they?!? ha ha. so it should be good. In short, excellent modulation and braking power that can be felt from Shimano. Shimmies are a bit stiffer in comparison to them and they slide a bit before stopping, they compress well and stop quickly. Not a bad upgrade for the price. The only downside was

Excellent brake pads. Terrible screws!

I have finally been able to fit these pads to my brakes and they are a godsend compared to stock or cheap pads. Compared to my previous brake pads, they have much more stopping power. With light contact with the rim, the pads have excellent modulation when you need to slow down a bit on corner entry or when you come to a steady stop. Based on that, I am sure that if you really step on the brakes, they will stop you and your bike quickly in an emergency. It's hard to describe how good these pads
