Pretty little converter

Sooo good so far. Please note that I bought the USB STEP DOWN model and it works great. I only wanted one, but four for the price of one theft. They feel robust and have good contact surfaces. I was able to solder the XT60 to one pad and a fat jumper to the other. I'm pretty sure three amps will be shared when used with two devices, so 1.5 amps per USB port. So far I have tested it with different voltages of 11.1 3S (Lithium Ion), 12-14V (Lead Acid), 18V drill batteries and it has worked with all of them. As a precaution I would advise anyone using this module to at least add a built in fuse and create an enclosure to prevent possible short circuits and protect sensitive electronics. Added heatsinks to ICs on three, not sure if that's the best place but it will do. So far I've powered Pi Zero and ESP8266 boards and even built a small solar charging station. If you are planning to use them for a solar charger I would recommend using a battery as these do not have smoothing capacitors or regulators to make the most of the current fluctuations by connecting directly to the solar panel. Don't get me wrong I connected one to a 50 watt panel and a small amount of wine came out of the board but I pressed it and it charged the power bank but after an hour and noticeable heating of the radiator, i decided to disconnect it and it still works
