Review on πŸ’Ž Adafruit Gemma v2: Unleashing the Potential of Miniature Wearable Arduino-Like Electronic Platform by Jeremy Edwards

Light up any jacket, shirt, bag, etc. with Gemma!

Great item for making your own wearables! I ordered this to make the Space Invaders Adafruit LED pendant featured on their website, but I'm still waiting on a few other parts before I can get started. It was a V2 with an on/off switch and a microUSB port in case you were wondering. I filed the edge a bit to remove the excess where it was tapped from the PCB sheet. Check out Gemma V2 on the Adafruit Industries website for full setup details. You need to add the Adafruits boards to the Arduino IDE or they provide a preinstalled version on their website. You'll also need to install the USBTinyISP driver (also on their website) if you're using Windows. Don't forget to press the reset/bootloader button when uploading your thumbnails. It was sold out on the Adafruit website, so I checked out Revain. I ordered this item from Chicago Electronics Distributors. I've ordered from them before so don't worry as all my orders in the past have arrived on time!
