So that was my first attempt. I bought some scented oils and a soap based dye to color the bars. This easily melted in the microwave in about 3.5 minutes per block (2 blocks total). I love bar soap so I thought I'd let my 7 year old son help me make it. It fits easily into silicone molds and dries fairly quickly. I didn't use enough fragrance oil to keep it from smelling (not that bad). He generally doesn't lather well, and I"soap box". it's probably due to the colloidal oatmeal in it from what I understand. I didn't go back and ordered the goat milk version which I foamed better. I'll see how it goes when it arrives next week. I'm happy with this version of oatmeal, I just don't like the smell and foam (it's my fault). It is very good quality and has plenty of colloidal oatmeal for those who need it. I didn't throw up either, which is worth noting as I have very sensitive skin.
