Love these skates! I am an overweight adult woman. I wear size 9.5 shoes and have size 7 skates. It's snug without being too tight and the cushioning in the boot makes it so cozy. The wheels roll easily right out of the box and the trucks move well. The wheels are firmer than I would have preferred for outdoor use, but I've used them outdoors without too much trouble. I plan to upgrade the wheels at some point but I don't think it deserves a down vote as the stiffness is clearly stated in the description. Whether you're just starting out or a fresh start, this is a great value purchase that you can start using right away.
