Review on MICHELIN X-Ice Snow 215/60 R16 99H winter by Gabriela widerek ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not a bad product, but I expected a little more.

195/65 R15, manufactured in Germany during the 30th week of 2022 and installed on the Lacetti station wagon this month, September 2022. This is a preliminary assessment, as the outfit has only just been delivered and has not been subjected to winter conditions. Actually, there was one "but" that would have prevented it from being written: In my 23 years of driving, I have had 5 noisier tires than this one. It doesn't howl like a dive Junkers (only NIISHP Rally-2022 did it), but its "separate voice" is audible as early as 40 km/h. The review will be supplemented suitably, but for now it doesn't matter if it can handle the main program and its direct duties, or if rolling will improve acoustic comfort. Truth be told, I had higher hopes for a brand-name item that cost less than three kopecks. Again, a different brand's rolled-back kit that had to be substituted by a subject because the desired size wasn't available in the proper size required no rolling in and was perfectly quiet right out of the box. I dunno, maybe I just got a bad batch of kits, but this one's looking good for the Bitter Disappointment of the Year award in 2022:(

Cons
  • Howls. We're hearing howling right here.
