Oh my god I LOVE this thing! It is MUCH easier to use than the Swift umbrella. For Christmas I got an expensive Swift umbrella from my wish list. However, this didn't work because the center pole was warped, preventing the umbrella from sliding up the pole. The exchange said the item was sold out. So I looked around for another swift and found this unique Amish. I saw rave reviews and decided to give it a try. I'm so happy I did! This little thing does its job really quickly and easily and is very easy to assemble and disassemble. I'm disabled from chronic pain and illness, so lifting something like an umbrella doesn't come easy to me. For that I needed my husband's help. But for me it's perfect! Just a few pieces that fit together perfectly and voila! It is finished! Now I can even wind my yarn from my bed! It sits perfectly on my bed with straight bedspreads and even for sitting upright. I will never go back to umbrella genius! And that's even less money than a glider that's just the icing on the cake! I highly recommend trying this if you haven't already!
