It says it's for the oven. Most houses are not as small as ours. We have a small house of 504 square meters. On this heater it is written that it is designed for 1000 square meters. foot, and I read somewhere that it is designed for 750 sq.m. ft. Our oven never worked. We ripped it out and put in the brick that is behind the wood stoves and installed it. We keep it just under 2 out of 5, so on the low side. The pace was in the 30's and 40's. Heats the whole room, perfectly regulates the temperature.
