Review on 🐶 Lautus Pets Dog Rain Coat - Waterproof, Reflective, Harness Hole (Size S, Bright Yellow) by Rebecca Massey

UPDATE: I contacted the company via email and they responded quickly to a request for multiple measurements to resolve the issue to fix. They are still figuring out what happened on their end but sending me a refund and replacement for my issues and have been very helpful and responsive. I am satisfied with the customer service and as I said below, I really like the design of the product and the material, so I hope the replacement is a suitable chest size. I would buy them again as I like them a lot better than some of the other raincoats I've bought in the past. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I ordered two plus size raincoats. The advertised chest size is 21.3-29.9 inches. I've expanded my chest to its maximum length and it barely reaches 24 inches. (See attached image - the chest is closed so double the 12" to get a full length of 24"). The coat is too tight on both of my dogs, which are 25-26 inch chests. I can't choose a bigger size because they are too long (a dog is already a bit too long). I'm very disappointed because I really like the design of this coat and the material. (It's like rip-stop vinyl tent material.) I could cut off the straps and sew a piece to it to make it work, but I really don't want to do that with brand new clothes. I'm digging around to see if I can install some sort of extension if I can find some old clips. I contacted the company to see what they would do and will update this review when they resolve the issue. However the size of the clothes is NOT as advertised and as I received two of these and they are exactly the same size this does not appear to be a one time error. In addition, the measurements of the back and neck are accurate. The quality seems ok, not super high but for the price if the sizes are right I would keep a couple of these as spares. Second update: 6 months later I still love these raincoats. The best thing is that there is no velcro. I really like the final clip of these. They held up very well and stayed very clean even when walking through the woods. Definitely recommend them.
