$250 vs $400 Inflatable Sup - Difference in Extras

To compare these [$250] vs $400 inflatable sups: I also have a 10 finger 10 foot iSUP , so it's a close comparison. The FunWater is robust as a SUP and can be ridden [not great, but better than the Ten Toes, probably due to the actual shape profile and the small size of the two fins]. The FunWater has a built in seesaw and the leash loop is on the front [much easier to pull out]. It's also noticeably lighter, indicating a thinner material, but doesn't appear to be at risk of tearing. What really makes the difference in price are the extras: bag falls apart after <10 uses, lower quality paddle [still adjustable] but I like the leash. The pump isn't great, but it has a standard threaded connection so you can replace it if it inevitably fails. I'd say if you don't use it often go for the $250 range and FunWater is great. Paddling small waves [and surfing] is so much fun you can pack it in a small car.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
