Plastic probe, NOT stainless steel!

While the fairing and brackets look great and are polished stainless steel, the dipstick itself is made of pliable plastic that literally melts as the transmission heats up. It gets so soft that you can't even put it back in the tube to check it or it will curl up in the tube. Why on earth did the A-Team make such a beautiful tube and mount, and the probe itself has dropped in price?
