This is some tough stuff

I bought this to print new parts for a canopy frame that was damaged in a hurricane. At first I was disappointed with the prints because they were very rough. After checking the PC for problems with the filament, I concluded that although the filament was sealed, it was likely absorbing moisture. I put the whole coil in the oven at 150F for 6 hours and made prints again. The prints are amazing and the details are stronger than the originals. FYI: I printed the parts on a Lulzbot TAZ5 with a nozzle temperature of 140°C and a bed temperature of 110°C. After printing I let the table temperature drop to 60°C and the parts were ready. easy to remove.

Pros
  • Print temperature: 255°C - 300°C depending on part and printer type
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
