I love this bag. I went through a lot of reviews and then ordered another bag (Petsfit Adjustable 13lbs and under) and finally returned and got this one. The bag has a thoughtful design with straps positioned for easy carrying. It's not very structured so the bag is cohesive with the dog inside, but my 7 lb Maltese (long body, short legs) doesn't mind. She just curls up or sticks her nose out at the top and seems pretty relaxed. I couldn't close the top if she wasn't lying in it and even then it would be tight but other than that the medium size is perfect for her to stick her nose out of the top and wear it comfortably for both of you. from us. I would not choose a different size. Pro: Side slits! This was a requirement for me as I want to take it with me on hikes and be able to breathe in any heat. Adjustable shoulder straps - can be opened and crossed for easy carrying or fastened in a traditional position. The waist belt is not very strong. but helps a little and is well positioned, even for my long torso. Front pocket holds a few goodies. Pleasant for dog and human. Good price! Deal Breaker) Not structured enough to even hold a dog, but I prefer a softer layout as too much structure makes it difficult to carry. The leash clip is a little short, it would be nice to make it a little longer to make it easier for her to curl up on the ground. But other than that, it's a very strong clip that doesn't look like it's going to break when it bounces. Some signs of poor construction, strings sticking out etc which worries me about durability. get on your way!
