HUD with GPS + ISO 15765-4 CAN

Update 2: Added one to my 96 Ford Exp. Photos are attached. Update 1: The USB connector has come loose from the circuit board in the box. Caused an OBD panic with multiple DTCs due to shorts. Reset them without damaging the ECU. Sent the first back and only used the second unit in GPS mode - on 12vdc the cigarette lighter plug is unplugged and connected to the internal fuse panel using the Blade Fuse Tap). The second block seems fine with a solid USB. Original Rev: Installed on a 2009 Maserati QP S. Works with OBD ISO 15765-4 CAN protocol (11bit 500K) (not all HUDs will (I've tried) and none of them work with J1850 PWM (aka my Ford from 1996)). Simultaneously reads RPM, coolant temp and speed. Or other combinations (volt, mpg, fuel consumption, time). I installed an OBD splitter because I often use the OBDLink MX+ and the CarBit app. I was hoping that HUD and Elm327 would work simultaneously, but that's not the case (no wonder). in the menu, but the default worked fine). I power the device via OBD (even in GPS mode) but from a 12v cigarette.Rescue lighter is included. As with others, I masked everything but speed. I don't use reflective sheeting as it's pretty bright during the day. I used a red gelatin filter to darken it. For $20 it's a good deal. Ordered another for Ford. I will only use it in GPS mode. Such details should be in the description and user manual, but they are not. Thank you for reading.
