I love that we have an open line of communication between our office staff and my patients. They can text me anytime during normal business hours if it's not convenient for them to call or come in. Sometimes some texts get lost so sometimes there is uncertainty about what was said but this has improved since implementing the system. If someone isn't responding within 24 hrs., then maybe something happened along the way where their phone died or didn't receive the message. Also, if a person doesn't respond after several attempts, try calling the number again. It will ring, be picked up by voicemail, then eventually go straight into voice mail. This allows us to get back to people much quicker than waiting until the next day when we don't always know when/if they'll check their messages.
