Review on Tensor Light Slicks Skateboard Trucks by David Will

The trucks are great, well packaged and I quickly mounted them on my board. Pros: Grinds well, offers some extra height to get used to from my old middle tensors. When I ollie I definitely feel like I have to smack my tail harder to get it to touch the ground, but overall the adjustment allowed for more ollies. I didn't feel any weight difference when comparing these trucks individually to my old ones, but after mounting them on the board I definitely felt a slight difference as they were lighter. Cons: However, within 30 minutes of my first session, I noticed that the board kept getting stuck and tipping left or right. As soon as I looked at the carriages, I noticed that the top and bottom bushings were beginning to snap into the metal washers that hold them. Then they just started tearing around the edges and my carts just got stuck. leaning. I finally got sick of it after constant adjustment as they only seemed to get worse. I ended up removing the bushings from some of the Thunder Trucks I had and everything has been running smoothly ever since. I do ride a little tight, but of course I'm not close to the point where the bushing should break, especially not right away. Bushing issue aside, these trucks are reliable and I would definitely recommend them. I've been riding tensors for 15 years and wanted to try these new lighter ones and so far I'm happy I did!
