Bought for my son who got rid of his training wheels They fit great and look absolutely cool. He thinks they are related to the black panther so we call them black panther pads. The main reason I got them is because I was afraid he would fall and get badly injured like all of us. Waiting for your first fall. It wasn't an overly defensive decision, it was a deliberate one. If you could make your child's fall a little less bad, wouldn't you like it? Guess he fell BIG TIME. We rode bikes and drove pretty fast. As he is a beginner with no training wheels I kept telling him not to look back at me because he was about to lose control, he did the exact opposite and fell. Right in front of me. I could do nothing but watch him fall. His grip twisted, locking the front wheel, and he fell headfirst, like falling headfirst into second base. The knee and elbow pads had withstood the impact and only a tiny scratch remained on his arm. Of course he was wounded, but in no time he was on his feet and riding again. Dust off and let go! He wasn't afraid. There are scratches on the knees and elbows but they didn't slow down, held up surprisingly well and are serviceable. There was a sidewalk where he fell, and we all know how bad a road accident is. Well that's a funny story that we laughed at at home rather than a sick or very painful story. 100% Recommend this product. Act!
