I really wanted to change the light color of my kitchen grout to a darker color to cover up the dirt and stains that keep popping up. The color of these pens is perfect. I had a pretty big job so the springs tended to wear out. I've found that if I rip the nib off with pliers, pour the paint into a paper cup, and then change the nib and dip it in the paint, I can put less pressure on the pen, use up all the paint, and work faster. . I am very happy with my purchase.
