Works great - Filter

INSTALLED ON A 2000 JEEP WRANGLER BUILDING DATE 02-2000 Installation took longer than expected but the product itself installed as advertised. The only thing I would change on the product is the breather hose that connects to the intake pipe and the right side of the knuckle valve cap as it feels a bit stiff and pulls a little on the right side of the knuckle valve cap but should be fine. As for looks. Well I thought it looked premium there and the fit was perfect. Yes, it comes with a throttle body spacer. When removing the throttle body, be careful not to drop the old fitting under the throttle body into the hole under the throttle body. Mine was brittle and fell apart as a result, but I was able to remove all the parts to install a new throttle body and its fittings. In terms of performance, I felt the car accelerated faster, especially above 2000rpm. However, I have not tested the car and have not noticed an increase in MPG as I have only driven it over 10 miles. However, he felt faster. On the downside, you won't hear any intake manifold or air intake noise like you would with a big V8, but the noise is faint if you look for it. Overall great product I would buy again.

Pros
  • Air filter lasts up to 100,000 miles before needing cleaning (depending on driving conditions)
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
